WIND GENERATOR
CHARGER
As the world
turns to renewable energies such as solar and wind the technologies are expanding exponentially. For some time now
we have been able to charge our batteries, our cell phones and our mp3’s with a solar charger. Now this same
technology allows us to charge our devices with a wind generator charger.
A wind generator
charger comes in various styles and sizes to change small appliances and cell phones with a mini wind turbine you
can actually wear!
Larger wind
generator chargers work to charge large batteries for use in homes and larger appliances.
These devices are
similar to standard wind turbines and are placed on a tower.
Now you can
combine your green efforts of commuting back and forth to school or work on a bike with charging your small
appliances on the way with the power of the wind.
The sun may not
always be shining; however, on a bike there is always wind blowing! Small wind generator chargers can be worn on
your arm where the wind catches the small blades turning the shaft that charges your small appliances or batteries
that are plugged into the device.
On a breezy day
this device, which looks similar to a small hand held fan, can be placed out the window of your home or office
where the wind will catch the blades. Where ever you go, when the wind is blowing you have the potential to charge
your batteries.
Larger wind generator chargers can be placed on a
tower to catch the wind and charge larger batteries. The larger batteries can be used to supply power to
appliances or homes when the wind is not working.
For this application, a wind generator inverter
will be needed to convert the energy into the appropriate current for use.
As the technology
expands we will be able to utilize our natural resources to provide our electricity and energy needs. By utilizing
the free solar and wind energy we do more than save money; we save our precious resources as
well.
Unlike the sun
and the wind, coal and oil, the most common sources of energy are not renewable and are not in unlimited
supply.
Additionally
these non-renewable resources let off toxins when processed for our energy needs. Using the power of the sun and
the wind the environment benefits from these clean renewable resources. Going green saves the environment and saves
money; why pay for electricity to charge your batteries when a wind generator charger will do it for
free?
