Some units’ will power specific devices and some are designed to provide light or even cooking.  The technologies for harnessing the power of the sun are expanding quickly and as the demand for them goes up the prices of them go down. 

The trend for sustainable energy is making the use of them a reality for many people and as the trend grows the world is brought closer to reducing the dependence of CO2 producing power supplies such as oil and coal.
